Spokesman Nasser Rahamneh told Petra in an interview that GAM, under the supervision of the Public Security Directorate, called off the lifting of rubble and debris from the site, having completed its mission.
He said some 3,000 cubic meters of rubble was lifted from the site, adding that municipal crews had been prompt in their response and deployed heavy machinery immediately after the incident last Tuesday.
