The good news is diesel stocks are coming in and LP Gas also two ships have arrived and the third one will also arrive in days. The problem is the unloading of the gas is slow as the ocean swell is so high due to the monsoon weather ships cannot unload throgh the outer harbor pipeline which takes about 7 hrs to unload but now ships have to come into the port and unload into trucks which will take upto 7 days. Same has happend to the second ship.Next week should ease the pressure on these products. Two ships of petrol also will start discharging over the weekend. But we need 3 more ships to stabilize stocks and the government is working hard to find short term finances which is around $ 50 million per petrol ship Given the state of the economy and the central bank that was handed over its a uphill task for the officials.Pressure is from all sides , energy, medical, currency etc. I must say no easy task and public should understand the crunch times we have been put into. No magic solutions here. Meeting after meeting is held with exporters to try to fix the problem over the next 2 weeks. Let's keep our fingers crossed as energy is the country's life blood. Sustainability is the challenge if we don't get more bridging finance and IMF program
