Zagreb’s police fires at football crowds


(MENAFN) Croatian police ignited fire with live bullets amid fights on a highway with crowd of football enthusiasts coming back from a match in Zagreb, Croatia’s capital, as reported by officials. This resulted in wounding two fans as well as almost twelve police officers.

The forcefulness events occurred when a group of buses was having Hajduk Split fans under police officers guide following the team lost a match to league rival Dinamo Zagreb. The transportations halted and number of fans got against officers, as stated by the police forces.
