Colombo, March 31 (DailyMirror) – A tense situation has erupted outside the private residence of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa as protesters are trying to break the barricades and enter his premises with one barricade already taken down by the angry public.
The Daily Mirror learns that President Rajapaksa is not present in his home at the moment.

Security has been beefed with the army and riot Police deployed outside the President's house.
A power cut is presently underway in Mirihana.
The protesters are demanding that the government provides immediate solutions to the various issues presently faced by the people such as the extended power cuts and fuel shortages.
