Qatar - Sheikh Fahd elected QBWF President

Sheikh Fahd bin Khalid Al Thani was elected President of the Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation (QBWF) by acclamation, during the federations regular electoral general assembly, for a new four-year term until 2024.

The elections were held this evening in Lusail Hall at Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) in the presence and supervision of QOCS representatives, and attendance of the federations Board of Directors and members of the General Assembly.

Dr. Yousef Ali Al Kazim, Sultan Hassan Al Jamali, Khaled Youssef Al Mas, Abdullah Hamad Al Hajri, and Hamad Salem Al Hajri were elected during the meeting as members of the new board of directors, where eight members competed for membership of the board, and these five were chosen for obtaining the highest votes.
