Afghanistan's former National Security Advisor Hamdullah Muhib finally appeared on media and disclosed the causes of the collapse of the former Afghan government and the reasons behind their escape from the country.
Hamdullah Muhib in an exclusive interview with radio Free of Afghanistan said that the real collapse of the Afghan government started after the US and the Taliban inked the Doha agreement in February 2019.
The former NSA said that he is settled in the US and Ashraf Ghani is still living in UAE and added that the latter fled Afghanistan to avoid his execution by the Taliban.
He added that even on the 15 August-collapse day- a delegation to which he was also part of, wanted to go to Doha for negotiations and power-sharing process but everything was changing after each hour.
About the resistance, Muhib said that he consulted the former Defense Minister Bismillah Muhammadi on whether to continue resistance but Muhammadi had told him that it was of no use.
Hamdullah Muhib called on the Taliban to establish an all-inclusive government and add to their government those who do not share the Taliban's ideology.
