TikTok leads new online shopping experiences


(MENAFN) Social media platform TikTok is changing regular online shopping.

The platform is currently creating its unprecedented live shopping and entertaining incident on Wednesday, Dec. 8 where individuals have the ability to purchase goods right away on TikTok, achieving the growth of “social shopping”.

Rich Waterworth, TikTok General Manager at UK and EU reported: “We think it's a really significant moment. E-commerce is a big opportunity for TikTok and it's something we're investing in significantly.”

Mr Waterworth has strong views for his new business, as he is able to rollout a fresh shopping experience innovated by TikTok.

He further says, “People who have a shared interest or a shared love for a creator or a product area, these communities come together and make the experience of finding and enjoying those products more interesting,” adding “so when you bring these two things together, the power of the TikTok community and the brands ... it's really exciting.”
