Kazakhstan Ready To Provide Support To Turkish Investors For Implementation Of Projects- PM

Among the promising areas, Bektenov noted petrochemicals, coalchemistry, and mechanical engineering, with a focus on deepeningthe localization of production and expanding the model range ofmanufactured equipment.
In turn, Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz, noted thatthere is a positive trend in trade and economic relations betweenthe countries.
"I would also like to note the special importance of today'snegotiations. The governments of our countries will continue tomake joint efforts to develop their economies and provide allpossible assistance to businesses. I am confident that cooperationbetween Kazakhstan and Türkiye will expand thanks to newagreements," he added.
Notably, Türkiye is one of the main trading partners ofKazakhstan. Thus, the volume of trade turnover between Kazakhstanand Türkiye amounted to $6 billion in 2023.
At the same time, in the structure of trade turnover, exports toTürkiye for the above period amounted to $3.9 billion.
In addition, imports from Türkiye from January through December2023 increased by 27 percent and amounted to $2 billion.
