Syria: 3 civilians killed in regime attacks in Idlib

(MENAFN) On Monday, at least three people, two of them are children, were murdered and seven people were wounded as a result of Assad regime air attacks in the Idlib de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria, according to local sources.

The sources stated in condition of secrecy that the attacks hit the towns of Bsheiriyeh, Zaizoun and al-Janoudiyah in Idlib.

Over the past year, Turkey and Russia decided to turn Idlib into a de-escalation zone in which acts of violence are expressly banned.

The de-escalation zone is now home to nearly 4 million civilians, including hundreds of thousands displaced in recent years by regime forces from throughout the war-weary nation.
