3 earthquakes hit Turkey's Ankara


(MENAFN) On Saturday, Turkish capital Ankara was hit by three earthquakes with magnitudes of 4.7, 4.8 and 4.3.

According to the Disaster Management Agency (AFAD), the epicenter of two quakes on Saturday morning was Cankiri district - 140 kilometers (87 miles) northeast of Ankara - at the depth of 13.66 and 4.13 kilometers (8.4 and 2.5 miles).

The third earthquake in the afternoon also struck Cankiri district at the depth of 7 kilometers (4.3 miles).

Neighboring provinces also felt earthquakes and there were no reports of casualties.
