(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, May 19 (KUNA) -- Bahraini Prime Minister Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has lauded the key role of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to sever humanity and promote peace and stability all over the world.
Speaking during his reception Sunday of members of the Bahraini royal family, senior officials and visiting Editor-in-Chief of Kuwaiti Al-Khaleej newspaper Ahmad Ismail Bahbahani, Prince Khalifa also praised His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah's wealth of experience and wisdom in dealing with various regional and international issues.
He stressed deep-rooted fraternal relations and cooperation between Bahrain and Kuwait, taking pride in strong ties binding both countries and their steady growth, the Bahraini News Agency (BNA) reported.
The Bahraini premier reiterated appreciation of the Bahraini people for Kuwait's contribution to backing the development efforts in Bahrain.
He also affirmed the GCC leaders' unrelenting efforts to boost the welfare of their countries and peoples.
He asserted the need to bolster joint cooperation to face regional challenges, maintain security and stability and fast-track growth. (end)
