Sudan blast kills 2 children, wounds 50


(MENAFN) A blast which struck Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, caused the death of two children and injury of another fifty.

This attack was unveiled on Wednesday in a statement Sudanese police spokesman Hashim Abdel-Rahim issued.

Sudan's police spokesman revealed that "an unfortunate incident took place on Tuesday evening at Jabal Awliya locality, which led to the killing of two children and injuring of 50 others, some of them with serious injuries."

Abdel-Rahim added: "the incident took place because a person threw an explosive device during a wedding ceremony at Mayo neighbourhood in Jabal Awliya locality."
