(MENAFN) Turkey's central bank was announced to have decided on Wednesday to maintain its policy rate unchanged.
The Turkish Central Bank (CBRT) reached an agreement to set 24 percent as its one-week repo rate.
It comes as the central bank carried out last year nine MPC talks with interest rates jumping to reach 24 percent from the previous 8 percent in a single year.
An economist, according to Anadolu Agency, forecast the policy rate to drop by 1.50 percent, while other analysts expected stability.
