(MENAFN) South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor Co. has launched the Palisade flagship SUV in the domestic market to strengthen its product lineup.
The company's sedan-focused lineup had few competitive SUV models, as it has increased efforts in recent years to diversify its lineup with new SUV models to meet rising global demand.
Hyundai Motor Executive Vice President said: "the Palisade will be a strong challenger to existing large SUVs though it has arrived late in the crossover market. The company has developed the new flagship model in the past four years to make it the best SUV in the markets."
The company said it has received 20,506 preorders for the Palisade in the past 10 days helped by its "reasonable" prices.
