Turkey condemns terrorist attack in Egypt

Turkey condemns the attack on Coptic Christians in Egypt, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a message on Nov. 3.

The message notes that Turkey also condoles with the families of innocent victims.

A bus with Coptic Christians, heading to the Monastery of St. Samuel in Egypt's Minya Governorate, was shot on Friday.

According to the Egyptian Interior Ministry, as a result of the attack, seven people were killed and another 12 were injured. The terrorist group Islamic State (IS) claimed the responsibility for the attack.
