(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 16 (KUNA) - Kuwait's Olympic football team on Tuesday won a friendly tournament after beating Saudi Arabia 4-2.
Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia participated in the tournament in preparation for the upcoming Asian qualifiers.
The first half of the match held at the Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium in Kuwait, witnessed a Saudi domination thus taking the lead in the 32nd minute.
At the start of the second half, the Saudi team scored the second goal, but Kuwait scored four goals and ended the match with a great win.
The Kuwaiti Olympic team met Oman last month as part of preparations for the Asian qualifying for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan in 2020. (end) fr.aa
