Qatar- Ethiopian envoy visits Katara

The General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation- Katara, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, yesterday met with Ethiopian Ambassador, Mesganu Arga Moach, on the occasion of the latter's conclusion of diplomatic tenure in Qatar.
The Ethiopian Ambassador expressed his utmost appreciation and gratitude to the Cultural Village for its unceasing efforts to unify different cultures by providing world-class artistic venue.
At the end of the meeting, Dr Al Sulaiti presented a painting by the Qatari artist Athba Al Thani to the Ambassador and wished him success in his next tour of duty.
Meanwhile, the Director of ‘Yunus Emre' institute, the Turkish Cultural Centre in Qatar, Dr. Mohamed Ikaj also met with Katara's General Manager yesterday. They discussed ways of enhancing the cultural ties between the two entities in the field of heritage and culture.
Dr Ikaj praised the active participation of Turkey during the recently concluded Katara Traditional Dhow Festival 2017, as a special pavilion was set up with an aim at showcasing Turkey's maritime heritage.
