EU-Sudan talks seek peace and stability

(MENAFN) The EU and Sudan are mostly prioritizing in their talks for peace and stability to be attained in Sudan, a top EU official declared.

The statement was made by Head of the EU Delegation to Sudan Jean-Michel Dumond who carried out discussions with Sudanese Presidential Assistant Faisal Hassan Ibrahim.

The EU official further confirmed the dialogue to have focused on various aspects, including bilateral relations, joint cooperation, peace process and political advancement in Sudan.

The EU and Sudan government have launched their talks in February 2016, seeking to tackle sources of the lack of stability Sudan is witnessing along with pushing for growth and handling issues such as human trafficking.
