“Even 60 Minutes and CBS, in order to protect Lyin’ Kamala, illegally and unscrupulously replaced an answer she had given, which was totally ‘bonkers,’ with another answer that had nothing to do with the question asked,” Trump stated. He expressed concern over her sluggishness in responding to simple questions, referencing the previous administration’s challenges and asserting that the country shouldn’t have to endure similar issues again.
Last week, CBS aired an interview with Harris that had undergone significant editing. Preview clips had shown her lengthy, meandering responses, which were later replaced with more concise answers in the final broadcast. This editing prompted Trump to focus his ire on CBS, suggesting that the network should be shut down and sold to “the highest bidder.”
