Azerbaijan Reduces Funding Of Nakhchivan Socio-Economic Development State Program - Decree


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 5. Funding allocated for the state program of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has been reduced, Trend reports.

In this regard, President of thge Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On amendments to the Presidential Decree of Azerbaijan No. 2424 dated December 26, 2023, regarding several issues related to the implementation of law No. 1028-VIQ of Azerbaijan dated December 5, 2023, on the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2024".

According to the decree, 249.1 million manat ($146.5 million) allocated for funding the state program for the socio-economic development of Nakhchivan has been reduced to 70 million manat ($41.18 million).
