Our Taekwondo Athletes Win 12 Medals At Samarkand Open 2024

Baku. Azerbaijan. August 16. The taekwondo
competition "Samarkand Open 2024" has ended in Samarkand
(Uzbekistan), Trend reports.
Our taekwondo athletes won 3 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals
at the tournament.
Athletes from the Alpman, Asiman, Atlet and RUGIM taekwondo
clubs competed as part of a single Azerbaijani team. Athletes from
the Alpman taekwondo club Murad Hasanzade (26 kg) and Subhan Rzayev
(38 kg) won the Gold medal in single combat, and Nigar Useynova
(individual category - up to 30 years old) and Narin Hasanova
(individual category - up to 18 years old) won the silver medal of
the competition.
Athletes of the Asiman Taekwondo Club Vidadi Mammadli (26 kg),
Jahid Ismailzade (42 kg), Yusif Zeynalli (+42 kg) won silver, Fateh
Sultanli (38 kg) and Aliya Mammadli (+42 kg) finished the
competition with bronze medals.
Taekwondo club "Athlete" athlete Akbar Tagiev (24 kg) won a
bronze medal at "Samarkand Open 2024".
RUGIM taekwondo team athlete Zahra Isaeva (42 kg) won the gold
medal, and Mirzali Ugur (40 kg) won the bronze medal of the
competition.
Let us note that from August 16 to 18, our team will train
together with the Uzbekistan taekwondo team.
