The interview, conducted immediately after Biden's contentious TV debate with Donald Trump, raised eyebrows when it was revealed that the questions posed by Lawful-Sanders were provided exclusively by Biden's campaign for pre-approval.
In a statement released on Sunday, Sara M. Lomax, CEO of WURD Radio, emphasized the station's independence and commitment to journalistic integrity, asserting that they are not a platform for any political administration. The decision to part ways with Lawful-Sanders was described as mutual, following her arrangement of the interview format without consultation with WURD management.
