Ukraine Launches New High-Rate Gas Well

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Naftogaz Group has put into operation a gas well with a daily flow rate of 439,000 cubic meters of natural gas.

That's according to the Group's press service , Ukrinform reports.

"Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, a part of Naftogaz Group, has drilled and put into operation another powerful well. It additionally provides Ukraine with 439 thousand cubic meters of gas per day," the statement said.

As noted, the well was laid as an exploration well to define the geological structure and assess the gas content of the deposits of a recently discovered field. Its depth is 5 km 767 m.

The new well was drilled in September 2023. The work was performed by one of Ukrburgaz drilling departments.
