Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has restored the validity of
insurance mediation licenses issued by AZ Group Insurance Agency
LLC, Chetir Insurance Agency and Garant Insurance Agent, as well as
Buta Insurance and Reinsurance Broker CJSC, trend reports via the
CBA.
The decision on this was adopted on July 17 in
accordance with the law "On Insurance Activity" in connection with
the elimination by insurance brokers of the circumstances on the
basis of which the licenses were suspended.
Meanwhile, the license of Azerbaijan's Gunay Insurance
Company was revoked on June 24.
Currently, there are 19 insurance companies working in
Azerbaijan, such as AzInsurance JSC, Ateshgah Insurance JSC, Silk
Way Insurance JSC, A-Group Insurance JSC, Xalq Insurance JSC, Ata
Insurance JSC, Baku Insurance JSC, Azerbaijan Industrial Insurance
JSC, AzerInsurance JSC, Mega Insurance JSC, Qala Insurance JSC,
Pasha Insurance JSC, Nakhchivan Insurance JSC, etc.
