Amman, May 7 (Petra)--Director General of the Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA), Rafiq Kharfan, accompanied by Director of UNRWA in Jordan, Olaf Baker, on Sunday toured Hittin refugee camp in east Amman to check on services provided to its residents.
During their visit, Kharfan and Baker met the camp's dignitaries and representatives of its civil society institutions to learn about its needs and listen to their demands and challenges.
The two officials highlighted services provided by DPA and UNRWA and operational mechanism of DPA-launched services platform to facilitate completion of the camp residents' transactions.
Meanwhile, the camp residents valued efforts made to continue improving camp residents' living standard, discussing their problems and listening to their demands.
