Amman, Mar. 30 (Petra)- Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Hneifat, and French Ambassador to Jordan, Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison, discussed joint cooperation.
During his meeting with Grandmaison on Thursday, Hneifat stressed the "deep-rooted" Jordanian-French relations.
Referring to the National Plan for Sustainable Agriculture, Hneifat highlighted importance of supporting agricultural counseling efforts, foodstuff marketing and processing, water harvesting, agricultural lending and cooperative societies within tracks that ensure a positive impact on agri-sector, rural communities and women empowerment.
For his part, the French envoy commended the "deep-rooted" Jordanian-French relations, highlighting outcomes of the meeting in Baghdad and ways to enhance cooperation in all fields.
