(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Club has been crowned champion of the 39th edition of the Gulf Clubs Men's Handball Championship beating the Bahraini team Al-Najma 27-29 in the final match of the tournament that ended in Manama on Friday.
The two teams maintained a draw throughout the match until the last moments when the Kuwaiti strikers achieved the victory with a couple of goals with remarakable performance by the goalkeeper, Ali Safar.
The UAE team came third beating the Qatari team, Al-Arabi, 28-32. (end) fsa.msa.rk
