Aseel Omran, Saudi actor, stars in OSN+'s "No More FOMO" campaign

(MENAFN) The newest commercial from streaming service OSN+ is called "No More FOMO." The term "FOMO," or "fear of missing out," was coined in the early 2000s to characterize a tendency seen predominantly on social media: the urge to engage in these things in order to avoid missing out on the newest information, events, milestones, travel, etc.

Since then, it has become a colloquial expression for the sensation of exclusion that results from missing out on a well-liked event or activity.

The motto for OSN+'s advertising campaign was "Watch What You're Missing," which tries to inspire viewers to find all the must-watch material offered on the streaming platform.

OSN+ is teaming up with Arab superstars for the campaign, starting with award-winning Egyptian filmmaker Omar El Zohairy and Saudi Arabian actress Aseel Omran, who is renowned for the movies "Zafir" and "Feathers."

According to OSN+'s vice president of marketing and growth, Ashley Rite, “OSN+ is the platform of choice for passionate content lovers who rely on us for the latest trending series, and celebrities such as Aseel are no different.”
