(MENAFN) Iranian Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister Reza Fatemi-Amin held a meeting with Zimbabwe’s Minister of Industry and Commerce Sekai Nzenza in the capital city of Iran, Tehran, on Sunday, throughout which the two parties assured the growth of financial relations.
According to reports by the portal of Iran’s Industry Ministry, in this gathering Nzenza urged Iran's food, pharmaceutical, as well as automotive firms to go into Zimbabwe’s markets.
The officials highlighted the improvement of collaboration in numerous financial industries and underlined the necessity for establishing a road map for the growth of joint exchange and commercial ties.
Asserting that the improvement of exchange with African nations, mainly Zimbabwe, is one of the urgencies of the Iranian administration, Fatemi-Amin stated that “Unfortunately, the volume of our trade with Zimbabwe has decreased in recent years, and by holding such meetings we hope to witness the development of trade relations between the two countries.”
