(MENAFN) According to state television, 19 individuals were slain on Friday at a police station in Zahedan, southeast Iran, including many members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The attack also injured at least 32 IRGC troops, including Basij volunteer forces members.

Based on the IRNA news agency, those murdered at the location were IRGC Colonel Hamidreza Hashimi, IRGC soldier Mohammad Amin Azarshokr, and Basij troops Mohamad Amin Arefi and Saeed Borhan Rigi.
