Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia Discuss Green Energy Projects Implemented Within Middle Corridor


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia discussed green energy projects implemented within the Middle Corridor, Trend reports.

According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy, the discussions took place during a meeting between Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad.

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov noted the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, the expansion of business ties between business circles, and stressed the importance of projects implemented in Azerbaijan with the support of the Fund.

He also emphasized the possibility of investing in priority areas of the economy, including industry, energy and agriculture, and the participation of investors from Saudi Arabia in the process of restoring territories liberated from occupation.

In turn, Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad expressed confidence that measures to strengthen cooperation between our countries and the ongoing discussions will contribute to the development of trade and economic relations, and noted the prospects for the implementation of new joint projects.

The parties discussed public-private partnerships, green energy projects implemented within the Middle Corridor, an assessment of new opportunities for cooperation in investment and other priority areas, and the expansion of ties with business units in various areas.
