SRINAGAR- The newly formed Committee of Administrators (COA) for Jammu & Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) on Saturday announced a“Legends” exhibition match, which is set to take place on Monday, August 8 at Synthetic Turf TRC.
The match will be played under the floodlights, with kick off slated for 7:30 PM.
“A football match of legendary footballers of yesteryears will be played on 8th of August 2022 at 7:30 PM under floodlights at Synthetic Truf TRC Srinagar,” COA Head, Bashir Ahmad Shah, said in a statement.
“This will be an event which will attract lots of spectators and will see their favourites in action. All the members of football fraternity which includes players, coaches and lovers of football are invited to witness this historical match at the said venue date and time,” the statement concluded.
Pertinent to mention that earlier this week, the COA was formed to look after the affairs of JKFA, which has been embroiled in controversy as well as an official investigation for embezzlement of funds.
The ten-member COA consists of members of former JKFA and National & International Footballers Forum (NIFF), along with two sports promoters.
