Three Civilians Injured As Russians Fire Cluster Munitions At Dnipropetrovsk Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At least three civilians have been injured in the Pokrovske community, Synelnykove District, as Russians fired cluster munitions at Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Mykola Lukashuk on Telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the evening, [Russian] occupiers struck the Pokrovske community, Synelnykove District. They fired cluster munitions at a civilian object, where construction and agricultural machinery was kept. According to the preliminary data, three civilians were injured, including an enterprise worker. The data on casualties are yet to be checked,” the report states.

According to Lukashuk, rescuers are now extinguishing fire in warehouse facilities. The damage caused is yet to be reported.

In addition, Kryvyi Rih District has been under continuous enemy fire today. Russian occupiers shelled such communities as Zelenodolsk, Apostolove, Nyva Trudova and Shyroke. The enemy fired at Shyroke with the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). In the village of Shestirnia, a residential house, household buildings and solar panels were damaged. Gas and power supplies were interrupted, and repair works are underway.

A field of wheat (about 15 hectares) caught fire in the Nyva Trudova community. No casualties among civilians were reported.
