Kazakhstan to manufacture nuclear energy


(MENAFN) Kazakhstan is taking moves to manufacture nuclear energy, according to a top official. Kazakhstan ranks first in the world in crude uranium output.

Kazakhstan is now doing research in this subject, according to Jaslan Kasenov, the head of the nation's Energy Ministry's Nuclear Energy and Industry Department, who informed reporters in Nur-Sultan that the government is taking into account natural and climatic factors.

Kasenov stated that his nation is vigorously working to analyze the technologies of six global businesses that sell reactors, and that the investigations are conducted in accordance with nuclear plant safety, reactor reference, capacity, and cost requirements.
