Iran, Pakistan concur to work together on marine sector


(MENAFN) On Saturday, Oct. 16 Tasnim news agency said in a report that Iran’s and Pakistan’s military commanders have concurred to work together in building military vessels and submarine maintenance.

Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, visiting Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, was informed on the course of constructing warships, boats and submarines, during a visit to Pakistan Navy's shipyards in the port city of Karachi on Friday.

The report noted that the military officials of the two neighbors concurred to cooperate on the building and repairs of ships and submarines.

Both sides also concurred to share experiences in diverse naval sectors to combat against drug smuggling and terrorism, as well as exchange students.
