Russia: Gazprom’s proceeds increase 84 pct on growing gas exports


(MENAFN) Russia's Federal Customs Service said that the gas export revenue of the country’s energy giant Gazprom in the first seven months expanded 1.8 times against the very period of the prior year and reached more than USD23 billion.

The physical volume of gas exports in the cited period hit 123.8 billion cubic meters, representing an expansion of nearly 15 percent, figures demonstrated.

During July, Gazprom exported USD3.48 billion-worth of natural gas, a decline of 2.1 percent on the prior month.

The average export price of Russia’s gas during July surged to USD245.12 a 1,000 cubic meters, against USD226.5 during the previous month and USD199.7 during May, read figures monitored by the customs service.
