Jazeera Airways to start operations to Dhaka from October 1


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Jazeera Airways, the first privately owned airline in Kuwait will start operations to Dhaka from October 1 with two flights a week. The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh has already accorded necessary permission to this effect.

The Airline will operate J9 531 on every Tuesday, arriving Dhaka at 2215 hrs, while the return flight J9 532 will depart Dhaka 2315 hrs, arriving Kuwait 0225 hrs. the next day, while on Thursday, the flight J9 531 will arrive Dhaka 1340 hrs. and depart at 1440 hrs. arriving Kuwait 1750 hrs. The airline will deploy brand new Airbus A320 neo aircraft to serve this route with 178 seats in one class configuration. Initially, the Airline will carry transit passengers from Dhaka with onward connections only, but eventually Kuwait bound passengers will be allowed to travel when the country opens.

Jazeera Airways serves 30 destinations, operating a reliable fleet of Airbus A320 and A320neo aircraft, all fitted with signature leather seats in two or three class cabins. Jazeera Airways owns and operates its own terminal at Kuwait International Airport- Terminal- 5, ensuring an enhanced passenger experience with dedicated check-in , fast immigration and short transfer distances. The Airline is represented in Bangladesh by Jet Aviation Ltd.
