Jordan- Foreign ministry expresses condolences to victims of a Turkish plane crash


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Mar. 6 (Petra) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its sincere condolences to the Turkish government and people for the victims of a military helicopter crash in the east of the country, which killed 11 soldiers and injured two others.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, the ministry's official spokesperson, Dhaifallah Fayez, voiced the Kingdom's solidarity with the Turkish government and people over this "painful affliction," wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
On Friday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced 11 soldiers, including a high-ranking officer, were killed, after their military helicopter crashed in bad weather in the southeast of the country.
