(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Oct 17 (KUNA) -- Austria announced 2,317 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, raising the total number of cases to 63,621 and deaths at 882.
According to health officials, the number of recoveries reached 47,618 while there are still 700 patients still receiving medical care, with 124 in ICU units.
Romania, Slovenia, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland have issued travel restrictions to the capital Vienna and other Austrian cities. (end)
