Morocco confirms 28 fatalities, 2,488 COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- Morocco's Ministry of Health confirmed on Thursday 28 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the tally to 1,714 and 2,488 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours.
The health ministry said in a statement that the total number of infections in the country reached 94,504 cases.
As many as 1,962 patients have recovered, bringing the overall recoveries to 74,930. (end)
