(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Aug 8 (KUNA) -- Infections, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Austria, stood at 21,878 after 82 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, said a health source Saturday.
A statement by the Health Ministry indicated that the number of deaths stood at 721 with one new fatality. Those overcoming the infection reached 19,812. Over 955,000 tests were conducted.
There are 24 patients in ICU still receiving treatment, while 120 remain in the hospital. (end)
