Lebanon police detains suspected IS member

Based on a report by the LBCI local TV channel, a Palestinian local was detained by the Lebanon's security forces in suspicion of being involved in the Islamic State (IS).

More investigation into the case of the suspect, who was detained in the southern Lebanon's city of Sidon, will be held by the judicial organizations in the state to determine what other legal actions to be taken.

It worth to be mentioned that a great number of people were arrested over suspicion of carrying out missiles in Lebanon in the previous few months.

Tripoli in June 2019 witnessed a suicide bombing that caused death to four soldiers of the State's army, and came as a terrorist assault carried out by an IS member, Abdel Rahman Mabsout.
