Boat crash results in 4 deaths in Philippines

Philippines local police said on Sunday that 4 people were killed and one is currently missing as 2 boats collided together in Maguindanao province on Saturday night.

Sultan Kudarat municipal administrator, Banjo Mampon, said that the incident took place at about 8:45 p.m. in Rio Grande de Mindanao, which is the largest river in Mindanao.

He said that the 4 bodies were recovered on Sunday, and they all died by drowning.

He also added that the bigger boat was boarded with 10 people and was going to Katidtuan village in Sultan Kudarat from Cotabato City when a smaller boat crashed into it.
