23.000 walk to raise awareness of cancer prevention


(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) Over 23,000 people walked in 11 places across the country on Sunday, morning August 25 at 11 points across the country, awareness about the prevention of different types of cancer.

In addition, In the twentieth version of the 'Susie Thayer Walk  the contribution they gave when registering is used to acquire pulmonary equipment for the National Oncology Institute (ION).

This year the Cinta Costera in Panama City  hosted 10,000 participants  and  cities of Colón, La Chorrera, Tolé, Santiago, Changuinola, Aguadulce, David, Penonomé, and Chitré, among others had big turnouts
