Vadao, Brazilian women's soccer team trainer, has been fired at the team's poor performance at the World Cup in France, according to Xinhua.

The sacked trainer has told the news in a meeting with Rogerio Cabloco, Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) president, that "The CBF is working to define the name of a new coach as soon as possible".

Vadao, 62 years old, has taken charge of the team in September 2017 and faced a hard period in which the team lost nine straight matches leading up to this year's World Cup.
