The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Monday night carried out a medical evacuation by a helicopter for a citizen who died after falling from a mountain in the wilayat of Rustaq in the Governorate of South Batinah.
The body was taken from the site of the incident to Rustaq Hospital in the framework of the humanitarian services carried out by the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) for citizens and residents along with other government institutions.
Another RAFO helicopter also carried out a medical evacuation of five Yemeni nationals suffering from injuries and fractures after their car rolled over in the wilayat of Muqshin in the Governorate of Dhofar. They were evacuated from Muqshin Health Centre to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.
