Robbers on the run after invading residential blocks in UK


(MENAFN) Robbers stealing sections of firefighting tools in Bristol tower buildings are 'putting lives at risk'.

There have been a series of robberies from residential blocks, where thieves have stolen dry riser brass fittings deployed by firefighters to assist extinguishing fire.

Police declared: "We are working to replace the stolen valves as a matter of urgency and we are also taking action, including security patrols, to prevent further thefts in all other blocks in the city."

Avon and Somerset Police stated: "In total, 11 blocks have been targeted across the city in May with brass fittings taken."
