El Salvador: 4.3 magnitude quake hits the country


(MENAFN) Authorities declared that series of earthquakes have rattled southern El Salvador, leaving many houses damaged.

No victims have been informed about up to now.

The U.S. Geological Survey confirmed that over eight quakes of a 4.3 magnitude or more, have startled the district since Sunday.

Three among the quakes have measured 5.2 to 5.6 magnitude.

The Central American nation's civil defense agency has shared pictures on social media of damaged ceilings and rock slides.
