Chinese language to enter Saudi education


(MENAFN) Amid efforts to boost relations, Saudi Arabia decided to introduce Chinese language in its curriculum.

Saudi Arabia reached the decision with China during a visit Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made to Beijing.

Chinese language will be added at all stages of education in schools and universities in Saudi Arabia.

A statement assured that the move "will enhance the cultural diversity of students in the Kingdom and contribute to the achievement of the future national goals in the field of education for the Vision 2030."
