Kuwait oil price down 50 cents to USD 62 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 8 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwait oil went down by 50 cents to USD 62 per barrel Wednesday after it was at USD 62.50 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Friday.

Globally, the price went down by two percent due to fears of a slowdown in oil demand in the upcoming months.

At the global level, the price of the Brent crude went down by USD 1.06 to USD 61.63 pb, contrary the West Texas Intermediate, which went up by USD 1.37 to USD 52.64 pb. (end) ad.mah
